Members of the International ZEV Alliance and critical partners met in Oslo, Norway for its 10th Annual Assembly in June 2025. The Assembly provided an opportunity for members to review progress in the past year and over the ZEV Alliance’s decade of existence and identify common challenges for collaboration. Members specifically discussed long-term target-setting, EV-grid integration, and communicating the benefits of ZEVs beyond climate. It also offered an opportunity to set strategic priorities and ways of working to ensure that the ZEV Alliance is fit for a new stage of the ZEV market.
Oslo, as the electric vehicle capital of the world, provided an ideal backdrop for this important anniversary meeting for the ZEV Alliance. Members were able to explore the zero-emission future first-hand with tours of zero-emission construction sites, heavy-duty charging depots, electric ferries, and the world’s largest underground charging facility. The Assembly also included a visit to Asko, Norway’s largest food distributor, to understand the challenges and creative solutions to move toward zero-emission trucking and logistics. These real-world experiences with cutting-edge ZEV technology and conversations among public- and private-sector experts will help policymakers to make smarter, more effective ZEV policy to realize the climate and economic benefits of the transition.
