2023 ZEV Alliance Annual Assembly

The ZEV Alliance held their 2023 Assembly in Sacramento, California on June 15-17 following the EVS36 conference. Approximately 25 government officials attended the event in person, with additional hybrid participation. During these meetings, attendees discussed recent policy successes and ongoing challenges, effective models for working with industry, and a new communications strategy for the ZEV Alliance. In addition to sit-down meetings, the Assembly provided an opportunity to see the real-world results of California’s ZEV policy on site visits in the Sacramento area. On Thursday morning, attendees visited Twin Rivers School District’s electric school bus depot, home to the largest electric school bus fleet in the United States, to learn about the real-world successes and challenges of transitioning this critical fleet to electric. To conclude the Assembly, attendees visited the California Mobility Center to witness their unique job training and workforce development programs built around electric mobility.
