COP28: Working together to drive the zero-emission vehicle transition

Transportation is at the nexus of the economy, the environment and energy transition. The efficient movement of people and goods is essential to a thriving economy, however, transportation contributes to almost a quarter total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within Canada and globally. There is no path to net-zero without addressing emissions from all modes of transportation – and the best way to do so is through strategic partnerships. This COP28 event fostered a collaborative exchange of information on best practices, insights, and lessons learned from various jurisdictions on engagement activities they are pursuing to strive the ZEV transition.
